In a world constantly screaming more, faster, louder, the “Feed the Pigs” collection by Nanook is a rebellious, candy-pink snarl at our shared hunger for excess. But behind the playful aesthetic of grinning pigs and juicy cartoon knits lies a story both cheeky and confronting.
“Feed the Pigs” was born out of a fascination with our collective greed—the kind that creeps into everyday moments. The urge to consume more than we need. The fear of not having enough. The impulse to take, even when we already have plenty. This capsule collection explores those cravings with humor and honesty, using Nanook’s signature style: bold colors, hand-drawn prints, and absurdity that makes you think.
This theme was also the subject of my graduation collection in Sint-Niklaas. What started as a personal investigation into the culture of overconsumption has naturally grown into the foundation of “Feed the Pigs.” The goal isn’t to judge or to point fingers—it’s about creating awareness. To hold up a soft, strange mirror to our habits and gently ask: why do we always want more?
Through this project, I want to encourage people to confront their consumption behavior—not with guilt, but with reflection. Fashion shouldn’t be a disposable product. Every piece we choose to wear carries meaning, time, and care. “Feed the Pigs” invites you to see your clothes not as throwaway trends, but as something to be treasured.
This collection is a reminder: clothing is not just fabric. It’s a choice. A story. A conversation.
